His experience as a coach and umpire has taken him all over the USA, and achievements include introducing and managing the most successful USAFL National Championships on record, that featured 27 teams and some 750 players.

Currently the USA National Head Coach for Women’s ARF and Women’s Team Coach for the Kookaburras, Wayne is also establishing Aussie Rules locally, with 4 teams in the Atlanta ARF League.

As head Coach of the USAFL National Womens team Wayne will lead the team on an inaugural tour of Australia in 2008 as the USA finally goes down under to maybe beat the Aussies at their very own game. As leader of the Atlanta team and National Champions in the past two years it is expected that he will have with him several of his current Atlanta squad on that tour of a lifetime to Melbourne and other parts of Australia.

Wayne's other interests lead him online where he develops and manages websites for several community groups, including www.atlantafooty.com, www.aarfl.com and www.eventingga.com. Wayne runs his own website design company www.georgiadownunder.com from his home office in Alpharetta.

Wayne has been married to Mary Ellen for 5 years and has two children from a previous marriage. He visits them yearly in Australia while ensuring he soaks up the sporting culture in his home town of Melbourne, Australia.
