UNICEF, and ANZACC
ANZACC Atlanta is proud to partner in
charity with UNICEF, supporting their efforts in
Belize.
UNICEF is committed to improving the
lives of children in Belize through direct
efforts to improve schooling, water supplies and
nutrition while working to reduce the child
abuse wrought through violence, trafficking and
drugs.
The UNICEF representative in Belize recently
wrote to us:
"Let me take this opportunity to thank you and
colleagues most sincerely for the wonderful
support we have received to date from ANZACC. I
hope you can convey to Chamber colleagues just
how much of a difference their contribution has
made, allowing us to really push ahead with
reaching marginalised children in Belize."
Founded in 1946, UNICEF helps save, protect and
improve the lives of
children in 156 countries through immunization,
education, health care,
nutrition, clean water and sanitation. UNICEF is
non-partisan and its
cooperation is free of discrimination. In
everything it does, the most
disadvantaged children and the countries in
greatest need have priority...
For every child Health, Education, Equality, Protection ADVANCE HUMANITY

About Belize
Tucked into the south east corner of the Yucatan
Peninsula,
Belize is the only English speaking
country in Central America. It was first
populated by Mayan Indians. Just a few kilometers off the coast is
the second largest coral reef in the world.
